Frankie Brent was the bassplayer and singer in Freddie Bell´s group The Bellboys, who scored a hit with the classic "Giddy Up A Ding Dong". During their 1957 english tour he left the band to start his own solo carreer and brought his fans some mighty fine Rock & Roll recordings, collected here for the first time. For many years he was a popular act on the East Coast music scene, before moving to New Orleans where he not only became the "Mardi Gras King" but also invited some of the best known artists to play at his French Quarter Club "The Famous Doors".
