Leon McAuliffe (manchmal auch ohne „e“) war einer der populärsten Western Swing Musiker Amerikas, als Mitglied von Bob Wills Texas Playboys oder Solo mit seinen Cimmaron Boys. Ende der 1950er gründete er sein eigenes Cimmaron Label, legte teilweise seine Steel Gitarre auf die Seite und begann Country und Rock & Roll Songs in seinem eigen unnachahmlichen Stil aufzunehmen. Hier sind zum ersten Mal diese Aufnahmen zusammengefasst inklusive dem gesuchten „Cozy Inn“ Album sowie die meisten seiner Hitparaden Erfolge.

Leon McAuliffe (sometimes without „e“) was one of the most popular Western Swing musicians in the United States, as a member of Bob Wills Texas Playboys or with his own Cimmaroon Boys. At the end of the 1950´s he founded his own Cimmaron label, put occasionally the steel guitar away and started doing some Country and Rock & Roll Songs in his own unique style. We collected these recording into an album, including the much sought after “Cozy Inn” LP as well as most of his chart recordings for the first time.
